Mielle launches innovative hair care line for textured hair

US- Mielle,a US-based hair care brand, has introduced new hair care lines featuring Kalahari Melon and Aloe Vera, designed to address the unique needs of textured hair with natural ingredients for hydration, curl definition and shine. 

The Kalahari Melon and Aloe Vera collection is designed specifically to tackle dryness, brittleness and moisture retention in curly, coily and heat-styled hair, according to Mielle.

The five-product range includes a Leave-In Conditioner for daily moisture,a Deep Hydration Shampoo, 2-Minute Conditioner to revive parched strands, a Curl Forming Glaze and Weightless Oil to define and enhance natural curls while adding a brilliant shine.

The collection’s standout ingredient is Kalahari Melon seed oil, a plant extract from the Kalahari Desert, known for its exceptional ability to retain moisture in extreme environments.

A study by Mielle, which surveyed 1,000 African American consumers, found that 92% of participants identified long-lasting moisture as a top priority after washing their hair.

Mielle has launched a national campaign celebrating textured hair and addressing moisture challenges in Black hair, created in collaboration with a Black, female-led production team for authentic representation.
