UK – Sephora, a beauty retailer owned by LVMH, will expand its UK presence by opening its first store in Yorkshire, Meadowhall, Sheffield, in the summer of 2025. 

This upcoming launch will mark Sephora’s first store in Yorkshire and its ninth UK store.

The new store will include Sephora’s Beauty Hub, offering bookable professional beauty services such as makeup, skincare treatments, hair styling, and brow services.

Sarah Boyd, Sephora UK Managing Director, stated, “We are thrilled to continue our exciting UK expansion plans with the opening of our first store in Yorkshire at Meadowhall in Sheffield.” 

Boyd highlighted their year-long effort to refine in-store experiences while rolling out the regional store.

The new Meadowhall store will offer an extensive range of exclusive beauty brands, including Makeup by Mario, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Tarte Cosmetics, and the Sephora Collection. 

The launch will likely boost Sephora’s market performance by offering a diverse shopping experience, emphasising exclusive, high-quality products that cater to various beauty needs and preferences.

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch, stating, “We’re incredibly excited about the upcoming arrival of Sephora at Meadowhall this summer. The iconic beauty brand has taken the UK by storm, and being one of the first places Sephora has chosen for a store is fantastic.”

This announcement follows the news that Sephora’s Liverpool ONE store will open in spring 2025. 

The launch will mark Sephora’s eighth UK location and reflect its strategic growth plan to expand its beauty offerings across key retail destinations in the UK.

Sephora already operates stores in central locations, including Westfield London, Manchester’s Trafford Centre, and Birmingham Bullring.

Sephora’s Manchester Trafford Centre store, which opened in late spring 2024 in the Lower Regent Crescent area, became a favourite among beauty enthusiasts with its luxury and exclusive brands, including Huda Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, The Ordinary, Glossier, and Makeup by Mario.
