Winky Lux appoints Lauren Bloomer as new  CEO

USA – Winky Lux, a USA-based beauty brand known for its playful, clean, and innovative approach to cosmetics, has appointed Lauren Bloomer as its new Chief Executive Officer. 

Her role will drive the company’s growth by leading innovation, enhancing storytelling, and strengthening retail partnerships, bringing Winky Lux’s joyful experience to more consumers worldwide.

Boomer will take over the leadership from Natalie Mackey, the Co-founder and  Creative Director at the company.

Ms. Mackey said, “After an extensive search for a visionary leader who shares our passion for redefining beauty, I am thrilled to introduce Lauren as our new CEO.”

Lauren Bloomer’s appointment as CEO signals a promising new chapter of strategic growth and creative innovation for the brand.

Ms. Bloomer expressed her excitement about joining Winky Lux, stating, “I am honored to join a brand as spirited and innovative as Winky Lux. 

“Working closely with Natalie, whose creative vision has been the heartbeat of this company from day one, I look forward to building on our strong foundation.”

Bloomer brings over 23 years of experience in brand strategy, omnichannel growth, and team leadership within the beauty and consumer goods industries to her new role.

Before joining Winky Lux, Lauren was President of the Good Glamm Group, managing international expansion and serving as a Board Member for WYN Beauty by Serena Williams. 

She spent 14 years at the Estee Lauder Companies, holding leadership roles at BECCA Cosmetics, the Estee Lauder brand, and Clinique. Additionally, she held positions at the Clorox Company and the Boston Consulting Group.

Ms. Bloomer took over the leadership role at a time when the company was expanding.

Recently, Winky Lux announced a significant investment by CORE Industrial Partners, a private equity firm with over USD 1.58 billion in capital commitments.

The strategic partnership represents a significant milestone for Winky Lux, offering new resources to accelerate growth and broaden its market reach.

Natalie stated, ” This partnership enables us to meet customer demand, scale our operations, maximize existing retailer partnerships with Target, Ulta, and Shoppers Drug, and reach new heights in product innovation.”
