USA – Bath & Body Works, an American specialty retail company in personal care and home fragrance, has projected a fiscal 2025 net sales growth of 1% -3 %, below analysts’ estimates for a 2.8 % rise.
According to the company, the projections result from the impact of U.S. tariffs of 10% on Chinese imports and subdued consumer spending on its fragrances and scented candles.
Bath & Body Works expects full-year 2025 earnings per share to be between USD 3.25 and USD 3.60, slightly below the projected USD 3.62.
Additionally, the company anticipates generating a free cash flow of USD 750 million to USD 850 million during the fiscal year.
Gina Boswell, CEO of Bath & Body Works, commented, “Our strategy is working, and we are driving topline growth through product innovation, enhanced marketing and technology, and by extending our reach through category adjacencies and international expansion.”
“As we enter 2025, we have a lot to be excited about, and we are eager to build on our momentum.”
Meanwhile, Bath & Body Works has introduced the Disney Princess Fragrance Collection, a collaboration that brings new products and scents inspired by beloved Disney Princess characters.
The collection features 85 products, including fine fragrance mists, body washes and creams, lip glosses, candles, hand soaps, sanitizers, and decorative accessories, all showcasing symbols from each character’s story.
The featured princesses in the collection include Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Moana, and Tiana.
Maurice Cooper, chief customer officer at Bath & Body Works, said, “Scent has the power to transform our thoughts, feelings and emotions, and we’re inviting customers to experience these beloved Disney characters like never before through the power of fragrance.”
Each fragrance was thoughtfully created with a Disney Princess in mind, capturing the essence of her character and unique personality traits.
This collaboration allows fans to explore each character’s story and connect with the elements that resonate most with them.
This focus on innovation helps Bath & Body Works stay ahead of trends and meet evolving customer preferences.
