USA – Skinbetter Science, a U.S.-based skincare company, has unveiled BioRewind, a dietary supplement designed to address glycation, a key contributor to skin aging.
BioRewind utilizes CorExtract, a biotechnology that blends rosemary extract with other natural ingredients to promote skin health at its core.
The blend of rosemary extract with bioactive co-factors boosts its effectiveness in protecting the skin, minimizing signs of aging, and promoting overall skin health more efficiently than when used alone.
Jonah Shacknai, CEO of Skinbetter Science, said, “With BioRewind, we are introducing a new approach to counteract skin aging by addressing glycation, a lesser-known but extremely critical factor in the skin aging process.”
The supplement was clinically tested using a placebo-controlled trial involving 104 participants over 12 weeks.
Results showed that those in the BioRewind treatment group experienced notable improvements in skin health compared to their baseline.
According to the skincare brand, 30% of users reported reduced rough skin texture, 28% noticed less skin dullness, and 14% saw a decrease in skin redness.
Additionally, after 12 weeks, the treatment group exhibited a 17% overall improvement in skin quality.
Skinbetter Science presented clinical data on BioRewind at the Annual American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Meeting, showcasing its commitment to evidence-based skin care solutions.
According to Innova Market Insights, the global demand for beauty supplements has increased by 21% from October 2016 to September 2024, with Europe accounting for 46% of these product launches.
The new product innovation aligns with the expanding supplement market, which is driven by increasing consumer preference for products with natural ingredient formulations.
Their product line includes award-winning products such as the AlphaRet Overnight Cream, Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum, and Trio Rebalancing Moisture Treatment.
