Knox will succeed Neil Washburn, who previously held the position since 2022 as the Interim President.
USA – Inolex, a worldwide company that designs ingredients for the personal care and cosmetics industries, has appointed Arthur Knox its new president.
Knox is set to steer the company’s strategic direction, focusing on strengthening ties with customers and exploring innovative approaches to achieving sustainability in established and new markets.
His leadership follows two key strategic moves: the introduction of an enhanced customer engagement model in the U.S. and the establishment of new commercial hubs in India and Korea.
Knox stated, “We’ve established an incredible technical team, built a portfolio of regionally compelling products, and expanded Inolex’s global manufacturing footprint to ensure continuity from origin to shelf.”
“Our focus is to partner with our customers and extended community, and listen closely, so we can build the future of sustainable beauty care together in the markets we serve.”
With over forty years of experience in the industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to prioritizing customer-centric approaches.
Since joining Inolex in 2016 as Global Head of Sales, Knox has played a key role in enhancing the company’s market presence and growing its international team across 11 countries.
According to the company, under Knox’s leadership, the company will enter a crucial phase of ingredient innovation aimed at delivering exceptional value to customers while driving sustainability from raw material sourcing to the end consumer.
Inolex’s appointment of Knox follows its strategic small-pack distribution partnership with The Ingredient Store.
This initiative aims to expand access to Inolex’s renowned range of natural and sustainable ingredients across the UK and EU, empowering indie beauty brands and startups to innovate and grow in the beauty and personal care industry.
Mark Evans, business director of EMEA at Inolex, said, “This partnership provides a platform to build relationships and explore opportunities with up-and-coming brands that are developing the next generation of high-performing, conscious beauty care.”
The collaboration seeks to fast-track the adoption of Inolex’s sustainable ingredients while furthering its mission of promoting environmental responsibility in the beauty industry, particularly among customers with more minor ingredient needs.
