Hourglass Cosmetics offers and cruelty-free products.
USA – Hourglass Cosmetics, an American vegan and cruelty-free luxury cosmetics brand, has unveiled its first-ever global flagship store at 14 Prince St. in New York
The 1,500-square-foot space is designed to offer an immersive beauty experience that blends innovation, artistry, and refined aesthetics, redefining the way consumers engage with makeup.
Carisa Janes, Founder and President of Hourglass Cosmetics, played an active role in designing the store’s interior, shaping its luxury aesthetic with warm tones, marble, and gold accents in collaboration with TMR Design and Ryan Crozier of Crozier Studios.
The flagship includes artist stations positioned along windows for natural light color-matching, a sculptural marble beauty bar showcasing Hourglass’s signature products, and a lounge area where customers can enjoy drinks while shopping.
The storefront design preserves the character of the existing building façade, featuring a subtly illuminated gold logo plaque and residential-style curtain panels in the windows.
As part of its commitment to offering exclusive services, the store also provides custom gift wrapping, click-and-collect options, and personalized beauty consultations.
The company is set to launch its “Artist in Residence” series starting in April 2025.
The series will feature renowned makeup artists like Emily Cheng, who will host masterclasses, panel discussions, and exclusive events.
Recently, the company introduced its highly anticipated Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked palettes, showcasing three stunning designs created by London-based artist Katie Scott.
Each palette has prosperity-inspired symbols, including the Dragon, the Evil Eye, and the Lotus Flower.
These limited-edition palettes feature expertly curated shades of blush, bronzer, highlighter, and finishing powder, powered by Hourglass’s innovative Photoluminescent Technology.
Hourglass Cosmetics offers a luxurious selection of beauty products, including foundations, powders, blushes, bronzers, and highlighters, all crafted to enhance complexion with cutting-edge formulas.
In addition, the brand provides mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and glosses, combining elegance with cruelty-free and vegan principles to redefine luxury makeup.
The Hourglass Cosmetics was acquired by Unilever in 2017, enabling the brand to grow its presence in international markets while maintaining its identity and values.
The company has several best-selling products, including Vanish Airbrush Concealer, Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara, Ambient Lighting Palette, Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm, and Veil Translucent Setting Powder.
