Eurofragance is reinforcing its position as a key player in the global fragrance industry through these strategic appointments and continued investment in talent.
SPAIN – Eurofragance, the Spanish fragrance house, has appointed Pelegrí Granel as its new Senior Perfumer.
This move aligns with Eurofragance’s strategic vision to expand its presence in the Home Care sector and diversify its fragrance portfolio.
Before joining Eurofragance, Granel served as a Senior Perfumer at Kao Corporation.
Known for his “cross-category’’ expertise in both Personal and Home Care, he brings a wealth of experience and an innovative approach to the company’s creation team.
Granel stated, “For me, in an industry that is constantly changing, it is essential to approach each project with a different narrative, from a creative perspective, with the ability to adapt and a special focus on intuition.”
Granel also pointed out the growing consumer demand for home care products that promote emotional well-being, a trend that gained prominence following the pandemic.
Granel added, “Consumers no longer just want the product to be efficacious; they also want it to provide emotional well-being, a factor that was originally sought in Personal Care products and is increasingly being demanded in Home Care products as well.”
With the addition of Granel, Eurofragance continues to build a team of specialized perfumers known for their talent, technique, expertise, and global market insight.
In line with its commitment to perfumery excellence, Eurofragance recently appointed its first Master Perfumers: Belén Garcia, Isabel Gil Trujillo, and Olaf Larsen.
These appointments recognize professionals with over thirty years of experience and reaffirm the company’s dedication to fostering internal talent through training and professional development opportunities.
This leadership transition marks an important milestone for Eurofragance, which is continuing its growth trajectory and reinforcing its position as a key player in the global fragrance industry.
Meanwhile, the company announced that Joan Pere Jiménez will become the new CEO, effective January 1, 2026.
He will succeed Laurent Mercier, who has successfully led the company since 2018 and will transition to a role on the Board of Directors beginning in 2026.
Joan Pere Jiménez has over a decade of experience at Eurofragance, having held several key leadership positions there.
