The collaboration reinforces Panasonic’s long-term commitment and strategic growth plans for the region.
SAUDI ARABIA – Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa (PMMAF), a Japan-based Panasonic Holdings Corporation subsidiary offering a range of electronics and devices, has teamed up with Saudi Company for Hardware(SACO), a retail distributor of electronics based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia(KSA).
This partnership is a strategic move aimed at transforming the way Saudi consumers engage with Panasonic’s cutting-edge products, making them more accessible through SACO’s widespread network of retail outlets throughout the Kingdom.
It represents a major advancement in Saudi Arabia’s retail and electronics industries, introducing a direct supply model that connects a prominent global manufacturer with a top-tier local retailer.
The collaboration with SACO reinforces Panasonic’s long-term commitment and strategic growth plans for the region.
Hiroyuki Shibutani, CEO of PMMAF, stated, “SACO is recognized as a retail powerhouse in the Kingdom, and we are confident that through this collaboration, we have better opportunities to showcase the full spectrum of Panasonic’s cutting-edge consumer electronics and elevate the shopping experience for our Saudi customers, building upon our growing presence in the region.”
The partnership was officially sealed during a recent signing ceremony in Riyadh, attended by Hiroyuki Shibutani, CEO of PMMAF; John Hardy, COO of PMMAF; Abdel-Salam Bdeir, CEO of SACO; and Makram Malaeb, COO of SACO.
According to the companies, the partnership will deliver locally relevant products and create customized in-store experiences for Saudi consumers.
This strategic move goes beyond a typical commercial deal, reflecting a joint commitment to innovate retail experiences, better understand local needs, and set a new benchmark for manufacturer-retailer collaboration in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, PMMAF has announced a new partnership with Alessa Industries, appointing the company as the official distributor for its full range of premium large home appliances, including high-tech washing machines and refrigerators, across Saudi Arabia.
This strategic collaboration combines Panasonic’s advanced appliance technologies with Al Essa’s strong distribution capabilities and in-depth knowledge of the Saudi market.
Panasonic reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a wide selection of high-quality, locally relevant appliances designed specifically for Saudi consumers.
This strategic initiative is further strengthened by Panasonic’s recent opening of a new branch office in Riyadh earlier this year.
