Penta Fine Ingredients, Keystone Capital partner to drive growth in speciality chemical industry

USA –  Penta Fine Ingredients, an American distributor of fine chemical ingredients, has entered into an investment partnership with Keystone Capital, a private equity firm provide customized investment management services. 

This collaboration aims to fuel the company’s growth in the speciality chemical industry.

Keystone has appointed Mike Size as chief executive officer of Penta, as part of the partnership.

Size will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence and driving strategic growth. 

Penta plans to pursue strategic acquisitions within the ingredients and speciality chemicals sector, according to the company’s press release.

Chaoran Jin, managing director at Keystone Capital, stated, “Penta has distinguished itself with an exceptional product portfolio and deep customer relationships built over decades,”

Size brings extensive experience in the ingredients and speciality chemicals sector, having most recently served as President of ZoomEssence. 

His career also includes senior leadership roles at Balchem Corporation, Mane Flavours, Givaudan, CP Kelco, and The NutraSweet Company.

Size expressed enthusiasm about his new role, highlighting the company’s strong foundation and recent expansion.

Penta Fine Ingredients is a distinguished distributor and supplier of speciality chemicals and intermediate ingredients for the flavours, fragrance, and pharmaceutical sectors, operating from a 113,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.

 Their catalogue includes Kosher and Halal-certified products, as well as FEMA and Flavis-listed ingredients, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

 In addition, the company provides custom manufacturing services for clients with specific parameter requirements, reinforcing its dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction.

Recently, Lubrizol, an American provider of speciality chemicals, secured a distribution partnership with Palmer Holland,  a speciality chemical and ingredient distributor, to expand the availability of its ingredient solutions for the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, and food and beverage market segments across the USA.

This collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for microencapsulation technology, which enhances ingredient delivery and bioavailability.
