Kiko Milano appoints Drew Elliott as Chief Brand Officer

This appointment reflects the company’s broader initiative to evolve from a mass-market European brand into a culturally influential global beauty leader.

ITALY – Kiko Milano, an Italian cosmetics brand, has appointed Drew Elliott as its new Chief Brand Officer, effective September 1, 2025.

His expertise is expected to refine the brand’s creative direction, strengthen consumer engagement, and elevate Kiko Milano’s presence among Gen Z and Millennial audiences.

This appointment reflects the company’s broader initiative to evolve from a mass-market European brand into a culturally influential global beauty leader.

Under Elliott’s leadership, Kiko Milano aims to redefine its identity, moving beyond affordability to embrace artistry and deepen its relevance in the competitive U.S. beauty industry.

Elliott views Kiko Milano as a “platform for self-expression and cultural connectivity,” highlighting its Italian craftsmanship and innovative beauty offerings as key components of its success.

Elliott, who previously served as Global Creative Director at MAC Cosmetics, is recognized for his expertise in brand storytelling and strategic marketing.

His tenure at MAC was marked by high-profile collaborations and campaigns that strengthened the brand’s cultural presence.

This leadership change comes at a strategic juncture for Kiko Milano, as the company works to solidify its global expansion efforts, particularly in the U.S. market.

Under the ownership of L Catterton since April 2024, Kiko Milano has been focusing on growth and premiumization, boasting over USD 1 billion in net sales in 2024 and more than 1,250 retail locations worldwide.

The brand’s recent efforts have positioned it in prestigious department stores such as Galeries Lafayette and El Corte Inglés, alongside collaborations with influential figures like Emma Roberts and Sara Sampaio.

Meanwhile, Kenny’s Group, a luxury goods distributor, has strengthened its presence in Africa by introducing the first KIKO Milano store in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The store is located on Avenue de la Libération in Gombe, Kinshasa, a prime shopping district in the capital city.

KIKO Milano offers a range of makeup essentials, including foundations, lipsticks, eyeshadows, mascaras, and skincare products such as cleansers, moisturizers, serums, and masks.

The brand has a strong presence in Africa, with four stores in Egypt, three in Mauritius, and one in Kenya at the Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi.

It also has a strong presence in the Middle East, with stores in Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
