The announcement reflects the company’s ambition to accelerate international expansion and deepen customer engagement.

FRANCE – Coptis has named Jean-Baptiste Mérieux as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), marking a pivotal step in its global growth strategy.

In his new role, Mérieux is tasked with driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, customer-centric initiatives, and operational excellence.

The announcement reflects the company’s ambition to accelerate international expansion, deepen customer engagement, and reinforce its brand presence across key markets.

Mérieux stated, “What excites me most about joining Coptis is the company’s unique ability to combine cutting-edge technology with a strong, international and human-centred approach.”

“Coptis has built a trusted relationship with its clients and partners over the years. I look forward to strengthening those connections, listening closely to our users, and supporting the success of cosmetic laboratories around the world.”

Mérieux brings a strong track record in scaling high-growth companies and leading cross-functional teams.

Prior to joining Coptis, he held senior leadership roles at Singulart, a fast-growing contemporary art marketplace, where he served as Vice President of Sales & Operations.

There, he oversaw a team of over 40 employees and implemented performance-driven strategies that significantly improved lead conversion, reduced logistics costs, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

In addition, one of his achievements during his tenure at Singulart was launching new B2B business lines that generated over €1 million(USD 1.17 million) in annual revenue.

Earlier in his career, Mérieux served as Country Manager for Life Project 4 Youth in Vietnam, leading social impact programs, and worked as a Senior Analyst at Redbridge, advising major French corporations on financial structuring and treasury optimization.

His appointment comes at a time of strong momentum for Coptis, which has built a reputation for delivering user-focused software solutions to cosmetic laboratories worldwide.

Recently, Coptis launched a dynamic new multilingual website designed to support cosmetic laboratories worldwide.

According to Coptis, this launch is a strategic move to modernize and accelerate innovation in cosmetic research and development (R&D).

The platform is available in 8 languages and is built with intuitive navigation and global accessibility, ensuring users can easily explore its offerings.

The website offers a comprehensive overview of the Coptis software suite, detailing how its solutions optimise formulation processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance R&D efficiency.

It also features technical resources tailored to the cosmetic industry, including expert content, webinars, and product demonstrations to help laboratories streamline their operations.
