K18 expands product portfolio with launch of HeatBounce

USA – K18 has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of HeatBounce™, a cutting-edge conditioning heat protectant. 

This new product, launching globally in August 2025, represents K18’s most significant innovation since the release of its groundbreaking hair mask.

At the core of HeatBounce is ResiliCore™, K18’s patented heat-shielding technology inspired by resilient proteins found in nature, which are known for their flexibility and ability to withstand extreme temperatures. 

Unlike traditional heat protectants that merely coat the surface of the hair, ResiliCore is uniquely designed to penetrate deeply into the hair cortex —the area where heat damage occurs, offering protection up to 450°F (232°C). 

Clinical testing has shown that HeatBounce reduces hair breakage by 85% when blow-drying, underscoring its effectiveness in protecting hair from heat-induced damage.

HeatBounce delivers “intelligent” heat protection by dynamically reinforcing the internal bonds of the hair fibre as it responds to heat. 

This proactive technology not only guards against heat damage but also defends hair from mechanical damage and harmful UV exposure, which can cause colour fading, dryness, dullness, and breakage.

This launch comes after K18 recently introduced AstroLift, a volumizing spray designed to deliver fuller, healthier hair while repairing it from within.

The product stands out with its unique formula, which combines K18PEPTIDE to repair protein loss damage and a seaweed-amino acid complex to effortlessly enhance volume.
