This debut collection represents a new dimension for Louis Vuitton, blending its heritage of creative excellence and craftsmanship with the artistry of modern luxury beauty.

CHINA – Louis Vuitton has officially launched its first-ever makeup line named “La Beauté Louis Vuitton,” marking a significant entry into the luxury cosmetics market.
The launch was led by Dame Pat McGrath, a globally acclaimed makeup artist who has been appointed as Creative Director of Cosmetics.
The collection is thoughtfully extensive with 55 lipstick shades, a purposeful reference to the Roman numeral “LV” (55).
These lipsticks come in 27 luminous satin finishes and 28 plush matte finishes.
Each lipstick is infused with skincare ingredients like mimosa, jasmine, rose, shea butter, and hyaluronic acid to ensure long wear and comfort—12-hour wear for mattes and 24-hour hydration for satins.
In addition to lipsticks, the line includes ten tinted lip balms and eight eyeshadow palettes, each palette featuring four complementing tones.
The products feature refillable packaging designed by industrial designer Konstantin Grcic, paying homage to Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram flower motif while embracing sustainability.
La Beauté also includes a collection of small leather goods and accessories, such as lipstick purses and tiny trunks, designed to be elegant and functional.
The release of La Beauté embodies three core pillars representative of Louis Vuitton’s vision: storytelling through product names and colors inspired by the Maison’s history, the art of travel reflected in the iconic trunks and cases, and the art of living captured in handcrafted vanity trunks, elevating beauty into a luxurious ritual.
The line made its debut in China, with worldwide digital pre-orders starting August 25, followed by an official launch in select Louis Vuitton stores and online on August 29, 2025.
According to the brand, the collection will be available in 116 stores worldwide.
The launch is supported by immersive experiences like virtual try-ons and personalized makeup consultations at pop-ups such as the one in New York’s SoHo.
Meanwhile, Louis Vuitton’s parent company, LVMH, owns several prominent perfume and cosmetics brands, including Dior, Givenchy, and Guerlain. Additionally, LVMH owns the international beauty retailer Sephora.
