Chantecaille appoints Tennille Kopiasz as new CEO

This leadership change marks a significant step for Chantecaille as it prepares for its next growth chapter under Kopiasz’s guidance.

USA – Chantecaille, the globally renowned luxury botanical skincare and cosmetics brand owned by the Beiersdorf Group, has appointed Tennille Kopiasz as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 4, 2025. 

Kopiasz succeeds Emily Coleman and will lead the brand from its global headquarters in New York City, reporting directly to Oswald Barckhahn, Beiersdorf Executive Board member responsible for the cosmetics business in Europe and North America.

Oswald Barckhahn expressed confidence in Kopiasz’s appointment, stating, “Tennille’s exceptional track record of leading, building and scaling beauty brands is exactly what Chantecaille needs in its new CEO to guide the brand into its next chapter.”

Tennille Kopiasz brings over 25 years of extensive experience in beauty marketing across prestige, designer, and mass brands. 

Her expertise spans skincare, cosmetics, fragrance, and haircare categories with leadership roles at major companies, including LVMH (where she was Global Chief Marketing Officer at Fresh and Senior Vice President of Marketing at Dior North America), Coty, L’Oréal USA, and most recentl,y as CEO of Blue Mistral, overseeing the luxury haircare brand FEKKAI and lifestyle beauty brand Bastide. 

Kopiasz is also an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she teaches leadership and mentors future talent in the beauty industry, as well as female leaders.

Kopiasz remarked that she has long admired Chantecaille’s heritage and philanthropic commitments and sees the new role as an honour. 

She looks forward to accelerating the business through product elevation, enhanced experiences, digital transformation, and supporting global commercial operations.

Founded in 1997 by Sylvie Chantecaille, the brand is recognized for combining high-performance science with natural botanicals, clean formulations without controversial ingredients, and strong philanthropic efforts focused on global conservation. 

Since Beiersdorf acquired Chantecaille in 2022, the brand has grown steadily, expanding notably in the U.S., China, and Korea markets.
