Epoca International recalls Paris Hilton mini beauty fridges over fire risk
Epoca International has coordinated with the CPSC to ensure consumer safety and mitigate further risks.
USA – Epoca International has initiated a recall of approximately 110,000 Paris Hilton Mini Beauty Fridges due to a fire and burn hazard caused by a faulty electrical switch that can short-circuit and overheat.
The recall covers both 4-litre and 10-litre models, sold in various colours including pink, white, aqua, and hot pink.
These mini fridges were available at retailers such as Walmart, Ross, Amazon, and other online platforms between November 2022 and July 2025.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has reported 27 incidents of mini-fridges overheating and catching fire, resulting in damage to the units and surrounding property, although no injuries have been reported to date.
The recalled units were manufactured before August 2024 and can be identified by model numbers PH11887, PH11887-1, PZB02-E001, PH12540, PZP01-E001, and PZW01-E001, along with specific serial numbers starting with 2024, 202206–202406, or 202206–20240704020.
Consumers who own affected fridges are urged to immediately stop using them, unplug the units, and apply for a refund by submitting an online form along with specific photographs to Epoca International.
To register for the refund through Epoca International, consumers must submit an online form along with three photos: one showing “RECALL” written in permanent marker on the fridge door, another displaying the model and serial number, and a third showing the power cord cut and unplugged.
The company has provided detailed guidance for identifying affected models by checking serial numbers and model labels located on the back or bottom of the fridges.
This recall highlights the significant safety risk posed by the defective electrical switch and the potential for serious fire and burn hazards to households.
Meanwhile, Paris Hilton recently introduced Parivie, a skincare line designed for digitally fatigued skin.
The collection includes six products: a cleanser, essence, serum, moisturizer, overnight cream, and neck treatment.
These products are all formulated with BHAs, ceramides and fruit acids.
