Drunk Elephant launches in South Africa exclusively with ARC Store

This exclusive partnership underlines ARC’s commitment to bringing sought-after, globally significant skincare brands to South African consumers.

SOUTH AFRICA – ARC Store, a South African beauty and cosmetics retailer, has partnered with Drunk Elephant, a Houston-based skincare brand, to become the exclusive and official retailer of the brand in South Africa, launching the product line on November 1, 2025.

This collaboration ensures that authentic Drunk Elephant skincare products will be available both online and across ARC’s nationwide physical stores, with all products sourced directly from the brand to maintain authenticity.

Founded in 2012 by Tiffany Masterson, Drunk Elephant is renowned for its clean beauty philosophy, specifically avoiding six controversial ingredients: essential oils, alcohol, silicones, chemical sunscreens, fragrances and dyes, and sodium lauryl sulfate.

The brand has successfully captured the attention of the younger Gen Alpha demographic, partly due to its vibrant, playful aesthetic and strong influencer endorsements on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Among ARC’s highlighted favourites are the Protini Polypeptide Cream, C-Firma Fresh Vitamin C Day Serum, and the D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops.

This exclusive partnership underlines ARC’s commitment to bringing sought-after, globally significant skincare brands to South African consumers, emphasizing innovation, ingredient-conscious formulations, and clean beauty trends.

This move comes after ARC has officially reopened its flagship store at Sandton City, making it the largest beauty retail space on the African continent.

The store features several innovative experiential zones, including the ARC Café which serves specialty coffees and smoothies, a tranquil Fragrance Pause Area where customers can leisurely explore luxury scents, and the Beauty Lab, offering personalized skincare consultations and professional makeup services.

ARC Sandton brings South Africans closer to the international beauty market with a curated selection of exclusive brands newly introduced to the country, such as Urban Decay, IT Cosmetics, Biotherm, Youth to the People, Paula’s Choice, TirTir, and soon, Drunk Elephant.

It also welcomes the classic beauty brand Clarins to its lineup for the first time. These international names join ARC’s established roster of favorites including CHANEL, Dior, Huda Beauty, Fenty Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics, NARS, Versace, Lancôme, Prada, SKOON., Skin Functionals, and Lelive.

Jamie Lane, CEO of ARC, emphasized that the Sandton store is not merely a retail space but a welcoming, playful community hub where beauty is inclusive, accessible, and celebrated in its many forms.
