BRAZIL – Symrise, in partnership with CO2 AI, officially unveiled the Houston platform at the TED Countdown session during COP30 in Belém, reinforcing its commitment to climate action and biodiversity.
The Houston platform is a groundbreaking digital tool designed to measure carbon footprints precisely at both product and corporate levels.
This innovation equips Symrise and its partners with real-time, data-driven insights that allow them to track emissions efficiently, prioritize impactful interventions, and ensure compliance with evolving carbon regulations.
By providing one coherent “carbon accounting language” for corporate and product purposes, the tool supports scalable, credible transparency on emissions throughout the value chain.
At the TED Countdown event titled “The Essence of Carbon,” Symrise showcased how digital technologies like Houston accelerate decarbonization across operations and products.
The platform’s robust governance structure delivers traceability and transparency, advancing Symrise’s ambition to drive measurable progress for climate, nature, and local communities in priority supply chains.
