This development is expected to resonate with users seeking integrated solutions for menstrual care and cycle management.

INDIA – Instamart, a quick-commerce platform under Swiggy, has launched a new integrated in-app feature, the Period Tracker and Care Hub, that combines menstrual cycle tracking with rapid access to menstrual care essentials in a single interface.
This feature is designed to streamline the process for users by allowing them to monitor their menstrual cycles, receive timely reminders, and shop for relevant products such as sanitary pads, tampons, menstrual cups, hot-water bags, pain relief options, and curated food items linked to PMS cravings, all without switching between apps or searching multiple categories.
The Period Care feature consolidates two key functions, cycle tracking and one-tap shopping, into a single section inside Instamart, aiming to address common user challenges like last-minute product searches and the hassle of managing period essentials separately.
By integrating these capabilities, Instamart seeks to reduce friction and simplify period management for its users, especially in situations where quick access to menstrual products is crucial.
Feedback from the platform and social media indicates that users have found the feature particularly helpful for staying prepared, building “survival kits” for PMS, and receiving timely reminders for their cycle.
The feature gained early attention after a customer’s LinkedIn post describing it as a “thoughtful addition” went viral, highlighting how digital platforms are increasingly integrating wellness needs into their core offerings, moving beyond purely transactional quick-commerce experiences.
Instamart’s move reflects a broader trend in digital platforms adapting to everyday wellness needs, offering users a more convenient and holistic experience within their existing apps.
According to a report by Mordor Intelligence, the feminine hygiene market in India is valued at around USD 5–6 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow steadily at a CAGR of 6–7% through 2030.
In the move towards promoting feminine hygiene, M3M India recently partnered with Sirona, a leading Indian femtech brand, to install feminine hygiene vending machines in malls and commercial spaces developed by M3M.
These vending machines, placed just outside women’s washrooms, provide easy and dignified access to a wide range of menstrual hygiene products, including menstrual cups, period panties, sanitary pads, panty liners, toilet seat covers, and stain-removing wipes.
