NIVEA Nigeria launches USD 2.1B care rollout to reward royal consumers

The promotion reflects the brand’s commitment to rewarding loyalty, driving market growth, and promoting healthier skin among Nigerians.

NIGERIA – NIVEA Nigeria has unveiled a bold ₦3 billion(USD 2.06 million) national care promotion to reward loyal consumers and deepen its engagement with the Nigerian market.

The campaign is designed to express gratitude to shoppers who have supported the brand, reflecting NIVEA’s philosophy of care that goes beyond skin health to include broader consumer well-being and market stimulation.

The campaign allows every shopper who purchases one of six selected NIVEA body lotion variants to instantly receive ₦1,000(USD 0.69) airtime by scratching the product and dialing a unique code.

According to the brand, weekly draws will see ten winners receive ₦1 million(USD 690) each, while fifty others will win NIVEA gift vouchers worth ₦50,000(USD 34.50).

Dele Adeyole, Country Manager, Beiersdorf Nigeria, stated, “In Beiersdorf NIVEA, it’s part of our core value to demonstrate care beyond skin.”

“We truly care for our consumers’ skin, but we are going beyond that, which is why we’re extending our gratitude to our loyal consumers and those aspiring to join the NIVEA Family.”

The promotion culminates in a grand draw featuring major prizes, including ₦5 million(USD 3,450), ₦3 million(USD 2,070), ₦2 million(USD 1,380), three SUVs, and ten all-expense-paid trips to Spain to watch a Real Madrid match at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Shoppers must buy a promo-stickered NIVEA lotion, scratch to reveal a code, and dial “7022” followed by the code and “#” to enter.

The campaign features key NIVEA body lotions tailored for African skin, such as Deep Maxx Tech Body Lotion and Radiant & Beauty Even Glow.

Earlier this year, Beiersdorf officially launched its Eucerin brand in Nigeria, marking a significant milestone in its mission to deliver science-led dermatological skincare solutions across Africa.

The company aims to tackle issues like unregulated bleaching products by offering scientifically proven alternatives.

Beiersdorf’s entry into Nigeria with Eucerin builds on its long-standing presence through its NIVEA brand.

In addition, earlier this year, NIVEA made headlines with the launch of its new Sun Care range in Lagos, targeting the specific needs of Nigerian skin exposed to harsh UV rays.

The event was attended by influencers, health experts, and skincare enthusiasts, and highlighted the importance of daily sun protection in Nigeria’s climate.

The Sun Care range includes innovative products like the UV Face line, designed to help prevent skin cancer and address local skin concerns.
