FRANCE – Seqens Personal Care, a global leader in health, personal care and speciality ingredients, has launched four new multifunctional blends under its AdvensProtect portfolio, targeting eco-conscious cosmetic formulations as alternatives to traditional preservatives.
These blends combine emolliency, humectancy, and product protection.
The four blends are AdvensProtect 56E (INCI: Pentylene Glycol (and) 1,2-Hexanediol (and) Ethylhexylglycerin), ideal for sensitive skin at 1.0-2.5% usage; its 100% bio-based counterpart, AdvensProtect 56E Green. AdvensProtect 58E (INCI: Pentylene Glycol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Ethylhexylglycerin) serves as a robust one-stop solution at 0.5-1.5%; AdvensProtect 58E Green matches its performance with fully bio-based ingredients.
These clear, cold-processable liquids work across pH and temperature ranges, suiting creams, lotions, shampoos, gels, foundations, sunscreens, and wet wipes for all skin types. They boost preservative efficacy, reducing active concentrations needed, while providing moisturizing and stabilizing effects.
The “Green” variants (56E Green and 58E Green) hold ISO 16128 Natural Derived certification, with a Natural Origin Index (NOI) of 1, sourced from renewable resources in accordance with green chemistry principles.

With a two-year shelf life and full traceability, it supports brands pursuing green chemistry certifications.
