Nuon Medical partners with Vagheggi to launch intelligent packaging for Longévité Line

This collaboration leverages Nuon’s expertise in embedding clinical-grade tech into packaging for brands seeking data-driven performance boosts.

USA – Nuon Medical Supplies has partnered with Vagheggi Phytocosmetici to integrate smart technology into premium skincare packaging, marking a key B2B innovation in beauty tech.

Nuon Medical developed the Efficacy Booster Device, an intelligent cap fitted onto Vagheggi’s Longévité 75.25-day cream jar.

This cap combines red light therapy at 630 nm, microcurrents, therapeutic warming, and vibration to enhance skincare application and efficacy.

Nuon stated, “To support Vagheggi Phytocosmetici’s performance objectives, the brand chose to complement its cream with combined technologies, entrusting Nuon Medical with the design and development of an intelligent cap.”

A 14-day study with 20 participants aged 40-65 showed an average 14.8% reduction in wrinkle depth, with some achieving up to 40% improvement.

All participants reported gains in skin firmness, radiance, hydration, and a lifting effect after using the cream twice daily and the device for three minutes daily.

The device turns the cream jar’s lid into a multifunctional tool, supporting Vagheggi’s anti-aging formula targeting 12 signs of skin aging like protection, nourishment, and contour definition.

The rise of tech beauty

Tech beauty, blending advanced technology with skincare and cosmetics, is surging as brands integrate AI, sensors, and devices to boost efficacy and personalization.

Consumers prioritize performance-driven products amid economic pressures, with 71.9% favoring quality ingredients and visible results over quantity.

Ingredient-led formulations pair with tech like AI skin diagnostics and LED therapy, as seen in CES 2026 launches from Amorepacific and L’Oréal.

Wellness integration and value-driven shopping further propel demand for smart, data-backed beauty tools.

AI-powered devices dominate, including Amorepacific’s Skinsight sensor patch for real-time aging analysis and L’Oréal’s infrared Light Straight styler for damage-free hair. Virtual try-ons via mirrors from MAC and Sephora drive 31% sales lifts, while wearables like LG’s eye patches deliver customized light therapy.

Perfect Corp’s YouCam AI Agent offers conversational personalization using selfies.

By 2030, nearly one-third of global beauty sales will occur online, amplified by in-store tech for discovery and repurchase.

Trends emphasize preventative, biology-informed care with regenerative aesthetics and hormone-synced routines, gaining traction.
