Nykaa and L’Oréal partner for exclusive Kiehl’s distribution in India

The deal strengthens Nykaa’s luxury skincare portfolio amid booming market growth.

INDIA – Nykaa has secured exclusive distribution rights for L’Oréal’s Kiehl’s skincare brand in India, marking a significant expansion of its partnership with L’Oréal Luxe.

Announced on February 12, 2026, the agreement positions Nykaa to manage all end-to-end operations for Kiehl’s in India, including existing and upcoming exclusive brand outlets, the D2C platform (Kiehls.in), digital ecosystem, and multi-brand retail distribution.

This builds on a decade-long collaboration with L’Oréal, integrating Kiehl’s into Nykaa’s omnichannel network for broader reach.

Anchit Nayar, Executive Director and CEO of Nykaa Beauty, stated, “This integration allows us to go much further, applying our combined strengths to take India to its next logical step in its beauty journey.”

Nykaa grants Kiehl’s access to its 42 million+ beauty consumers, nationwide retail presence, and rapid fulfilment via Nykaa Now in select cities, aiming to scale the brand’s luxury skincare authority.

L’Oréal Luxe India’s General Manager, Shreshta Jana, highlighted seamless integration into India’s top beauty platform for enhanced skincare education and service.

The move strengthens Nykaa’s dominance in premium beauty amid India’s growing luxury skincare demand, with no disruptions to Kiehl’s current stores or touchpoints during the transition.

Kiehl’s, known for nature-inspired, science-backed formulas since 1851, aligns with Nykaa’s focus on high-end personal care expansions.

Kiehl’s offers a full spectrum of skincare essentials, from hydrating creams and cleansers to targeted serums and masks.

Hero products include the Ultra Facial Cream, Calendula Toner, Vitamin C and Retinol serums, and specialized treatments like the Rare Earth Clay Mask and Avocado Eye Cream.

L’Oréal India offers a wide portfolio across skincare, haircare, makeup, and fragrances, spanning both mass and luxury segments.

Popular brands include L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline, Matrix, and Kérastase, alongside premium lines like Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, and La Roche-Posay.

This mix allows the company to serve everyday consumers, professional salons, and luxury buyers, making it one of the most diverse beauty players in the Indian market.

Nykaa has forged key strategic partnerships to bolster its position in India’s premium beauty market.

These collaborations focus on exclusive distribution rights and market entry support for global brands.

Meanwhile, Nykaa partnered with French beauty brand Yves Rocher in December 2025 to launch around 100 dermo-botanical skincare and haircare products across its online platforms and 265 stores starting June 2026.

This alliance targets India’s growing demand for natural, science-backed beauty solutions and aligns with Nykaa’s omnichannel ecosystem.
