Moroccanoil expands fragrance line with new Lumière du Jour Eau de Parfum

ISRAEL – Moroccanoil, an Israeli cosmetics company headquartered in New York City, has launched Lumière du Jour Eau de Parfum, its second fine fragrance following the success of L’Originale, marking an expansion in the brand’s lifestyle offerings.

This new scent captures the essence of a Mediterranean dawn with refreshing top notes of rock salt, fig leaf, and juniper, transitioning to luminous heart notes of orange flower, jasmine buds, and tuberose, and settling into a base of blonde woods, radiant musks, and white amber.

The perfume draws from the tranquil allure of morning light on coastal gardens, evoking serenity and warmth. Actress Adria Arjona returns as the muse, embodying the scent’s romantic, escapist vibe in the campaign visuals.

Jay Elarar, Moroccanoil CEO of the Americas, stated, “After witnessing the extraordinary reception of L’Originale—including selling out on Sephora.com in less than 24 hours and becoming the #1 fragrance in both traffic and sales—we knew there was a clear desire for more from Moroccanoil in the fine fragrance space.”

“Introducing our second Eau de Parfum is an intentional next step in expanding our fragrance portfolio and reinforcing Moroccanoil as a true lifestyle brand.”

Lumière du Jour will launch on February 24, 2026, on Moroccanoil.com, Sephora.com, Ulta, and travel retail in 1.7 fl. oz. and 0.34 fl. oz. spray sizes.

Moroccanoil’s fragrance journey began with L’Originale Eau de Parfum in February 2025, inspired by its iconic argan oil scent with notes of citrus, camellia, violet, woods, vanilla, sandalwood, musk, and amber.

That launch, also starring Arjona, was driven by fan requests and quickly became a top seller. No other major Moroccanoil news beyond these fragrance expansions appears in recent reports.

Moroccanoil’s portfolio goes well beyond its signature argan oil hair treatment.

The company offers a full haircare line, including shampoos, conditioners, masks, styling creams, sprays, a body care collection such as lotions, shower gels, hand creams, scrubs, and, since 2021, a growing fragrance line with eau de parfums.

They’ve also expanded into professional salon tools and education, including their styling academy in New York.
