Sensodyne expands oral care portfolio with dual-action toothpastes

This launch marks a shift from temporary numbing agents to true restorative care through regular use.

UK – Sensodyne, an oral care brand under Haleon, has launched Clinical Repair toothpaste, a new addition to its lineup targeting the root cause of tooth sensitivity for rapid and lasting relief.

The lineup features two fresh mint options: Whiten & Shine with arctic peppermint-spearmint for a brightening effect, and Fresh Clean with peppermint-eucalyptus for invigorating daily care.

According to the brand, this toothpastes activates upon contact with saliva during brushing, beginning to repair sensitive tooth areas within 60 seconds and forming a durable protective layer that strengthens with twice-daily use.

Clinical trials confirm it delivers significant sensitivity reduction in just three days while outperforming two major competitors in layer hardness and coverage.

Haleon, the brand’s parent company, developed it after finding 85% of sensitivity sufferers seek root-cause treatments beyond mere numbing.

Rishi Mulgund, Senior Director of Sensodyne in the US, stated, “Oral care is a daily essential in any personal care routine, yet for those with vulnerable, sensitive teeth, even simple moments can feel uncomfortable, from sipping a hot coffee in the morning to smiling with confidence.”

“People with sensitive teeth aren’t looking for short-term fixes. They want care they can trust to help protect sensitive teeth at the source, which is why we created Sensodyne Clinical Repair.”

As the leading dentist-recommended sensitivity brand, Sensodyne positions Clinical Repair to transform everyday experiences like hot drinks or cold foods by fitting seamlessly into modern, performance-focused oral care.

In a similar move, Boka, an American oral care brand, has launched a new fluoride-free toothpaste specifically designed to combat tooth sensitivity, enabling users to enjoy hot and cold treats without discomfort.

The Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth features a clinically supported blend of 5% potassium nitrate, which soothes nerve pain, and nano-hydroxyapatite (n-Ha), a mineral mimicking natural enamel to rebuild protection against triggers like cold, heat, acids, and sweets.

Available in a refreshing Mint Cream flavour with notes of mint, coconut, and cream, it freshens breath while avoiding fluoride, parabens, SLS, artificial flavours, or dyes.

This launch expands Boka’s portfolio as a modern oral care brand focused on science-backed, wellness-oriented products since 2015.

It addresses growing demand for fluoride-free options among adults, positioning Boka as a leader in sensitivity care without harsh chemicals.
