Inolex strengthens leadership team with key appointments

The appointments support Inolex’s broader effort to connect sustainability with commercialization and customer-facing innovation.

USA – Inolex has appointed Jennifer O’Hara as director of technical marketing and commercialization and Jennie Creech as director of product sustainability, underscoring the company’s push to align marketing, commercialization, and sustainability more closely.

O’Hara was previously director of technical marketing and commercialization at Inolex.

Before that, she served as director of business development for the East at Barentz and as global marketing manager at Ashland.

She brings more than 20 years of experience across personal care and consumer products, with a background spanning research and development, engineering, planning, and sales and marketing.

At Inolex, O’Hara has been helping advance sustainable ingredient innovation by combining technical expertise with a market-focused approach.

Inolex President Art Knox, stated, “Jen has vast experience bringing new chemistry from concept to commercialization and ultimately, on to store shelves and into consumers’ hands.”

“She has a deep understanding of Inolex chemistry and the solutions we provide, as well as empathy for customer and consumer pain points.”

O’Hara led a study with Robin D. Groover, founder of Groove Global Industries in Atlanta, comparing Inolex formulations containing LexFeel Shine with two leading anti-frizz products.

The study offered cosmetic chemists useful insights into balancing performance, aesthetics and sustainability in next-generation hair care.

Creech, meanwhile, has been named director, product sustainability, where she will lead efforts to embed sustainability more deeply into Inolex’s innovation and commercialization strategy.

She joined Inolex in 2019 and most recently served as a technical key account manager.

Before joining the company, she held technical sales and R&D roles at Clariant. She holds a degree in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.

Her appointment reinforces Inolex’s commitment to biobased, traceable, biodegradable and circular solutions.

Creech is also scheduled to present at Discover Sustainability, a featured program at NYSCC Suppliers’ Day in New York City.

Her presentation, “Sustainability Driven Performance: Root to Ocean,” focuses on how sustainable design can be most effective when it addresses a real market need.

The appointments also come as Inolex continues to grow its product pipeline.

The company says it aims to introduce five to six new products each year.

It is also investing in a new Ingredients Design Centre at its Philadelphia headquarters, scheduled to open in 2027.

The centre will support rapid prototyping, stronger data and claim support, and customer feedback drawn from a diverse consumer base.

The new centre will be part of The Hall, a collaborative space launched by Inolex in 2023.

It is intended to bring together every stage of ingredient development, from scientific claim validation to customer and consumer insight, so the company can deliver solutions that are both technically strong and commercially relevant.
