Cosmo International Fragrances appoints Emily Bond to lead U.S. expansion

The appointment signals a decisive shift in how the privately held fragrance manufacturer intends to position itself competitively across one of the world’s most lucrative beauty and personal care markets.

USA – Fragrance house Cosmo International Fragrances has tapped Emily Bond to fill the newly created role of General Manager for the United States, a position the company says reflects its growing investment in and commitment to the North American market.

The company created this role as a direct reflection of its expansion plans and its intent to deepen its presence in North America.

The move comes as global fragrance houses accelerate investments in the United States, widely regarded as a critical proving ground for both established and emerging scent brands.

By installing a dedicated general manager at the helm of its US business, Cosmo signals its readiness to compete more aggressively for market share in a region where surging consumer demand for fine fragrance, personal care, and home scenting products is driving growth.

Bond brings to the role a distinguished career spanning more than a quarter century in the beauty and fragrance sector. Prior to joining Cosmo, she served as Chief Executive Officer of Lotus Bridge Strategic Partners, a consultancy through which she guided brands on growth strategy and market expansion.

Her extensive experience also includes senior leadership positions at Givaudan, Newell Brands, Coty, and Unilever.

Her track record in the industry is well-documented. During her time at Givaudan, Bond led the marketing, commercial and creative fine fragrances teams across North America, having previously helmed mass fragrance global development and marketing at Coty, where she oversaw a diverse brand portfolio.

She also held senior marketing positions for prestige names, including Calvin Klein, Vera Wang and Nautica, managed celebrity fragrance launches, and led Philosophy’s fragrance and bath segments through its integration into Coty.

She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont, a Master of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina, and has pursued studies at the Université de Paris, a background that blends creative discipline with commercial acumen.

Cosmo International Fragrances is a privately owned company with more than four decades of industry history, partnering with both globally established and independent brands to manufacture fragrance oils across fine fragrance, personal care, home care, hair care and household product categories.

Its global infrastructure spans production plants, creative centers, and research and development sites in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

The company, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is led by President Marc Blaison. Its leadership bench also includes a General Manager for EMEA, Aymeric Fichard, alongside Global Marketing and Communications Director Katie Bell, indicating that Bond’s appointment as North America GM mirrors the company’s broader regional management structure.
