This establishes a new model for AI-powered biotechnology and nature-based expertise in beauty.

USA – Natura and Debut, the biotech beauty company harnessing artificial intelligence for scientific innovation, have announced a strategic partnership to commercialize an AI-discovered longevity ingredient complex designed specifically for the Latin American market.
According to the companies, products could reach consumers as early as 2027 after clinical validation.
The collaboration merges Debut’s proprietary AI platform with Natura’s expertise in Amazon Rainforest biodiversity.
Debut’s AI screens 96 billion molecular possibilities in days, while the conventional screening would take an estimated 125,000 years.
The platform targets the 14 hallmarks of ageing.
These are biological processes that drive ageing, ranging from DNA damage to chronic inflammation.
Natura contributes 46 socio-biodiversity bioactives from the Amazon. Key ingredients include Ucuuba with intense moisturizing power and Tukumã, naturally rich in hyaluronic acid.
The partnership aims for best-in-class longevity performance and addresses the root causes of skin ageing rather than masking wrinkles.
Joshua Britton, PhD, Founder and CEO of Debut, stated, “This collaboration represents a new frontier in beauty innovation where advanced science and nature work in collaboration to deliver a new standard of clinically validated performance.”
“By combining genomics-enabled molecular design with Natura’s unique heritage in botanical actives from the Amazon, we are unlocking new possibilities for product innovation.”
The partnership marks Debut’s entry into Latin America.
Brazil is the region’s largest beauty market. It ranks among the world’s largest alongside the US, China, and Japan.
The collaboration complements Natura’s leadership in nature-based ingredients. Natura gains access to Debut’s proprietary AI platform.
The longevity complex bridges precision biotechnology and nature, and will drive the next wave of Natura’s product innovation.
Founded in 1969, Natura has been Brazil’s most reputable company for 12 consecutive years, according to the Merco ranking.
Natura is also the most responsible in ESG for 12 consecutive years.
In 2014, it became the first publicly traded B Corp certified company.
Products reach consumers through 3 million consultants.
They are also sold via e-commerce, the Natura app, and over 1,000 stores. Debut was named one of the TIME100 Most Innovative Companies 2025.
The company builds beauty at the intersection of AI and biotechnology.
Debut specializes in scientifically discovered, clinically validated, sustainable ingredients.
In August 2025, Debut secured USD 20 million in investment. Backers included Fine Structure Ventures, EDBI, BOLD (L’Oréal’s venture fund), and others.
The funding accelerates the expansion of its AI ingredient discovery platform.
