Through this joint research, the companies also aim to explore hybrid technologies through collaboration across adjacent fields, opening new possibilities for long-term skin health.

SOUTH KOREA – Junevity, a biotechnology company focused on extending lifespan and healthspan, and Amorepacific Corporation, a global beauty and wellness company, have announced a collaboration to develop next-generation cosmetics designed to rejuvenate skin.
Alongside the partnership, Amorepacific has made a strategic investment in Junevity through its corporate venture arm, Amorepacific Ventures, and entered into a separate licensing agreement for cosmetic field applications.
Under the collaboration, Junevity will apply its RESET Platform to discover novel skin-aging pathways for cosmetics, pairing its target-discovery engine with Amorepacific’s deep expertise in skin biology, cosmetic development, and commercialization.
The RESET Platform uses human disease omics, genetic linkages, and machine learning/AI to identify novel transcription factor targets.
The companies will work to discover and validate pathways suitable for cosmetic applications intended to reset and rejuvenate skin gene networks toward a healthier state.
Following target discovery and validation, Amorepacific will lead the development and commercialization of cosmetic products arising from the collaboration, while Junevity will continue to advance therapeutic applications of its platform.
Dr. Janine Sengstack, Junevity’s co-founder and CSO, said that in human fibroblast models directly relevant to skin, the company’s pioneering work showed that repressing a single transcription factor can restore aged cells toward a healthier state.
She described Amorepacific as a global leader in research-driven innovation for wellness, skincare, and longevity, and said the partnership will enable the discovery of new targets to rejuvenate skin and address skin aging.
The partnership builds on Dr. Sengstack’s research at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
In a peer-reviewed study published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) in January 2026, Sengstack and colleagues showed that modulating individual transcription factors can reverse hallmarks of cellular aging, including in models of human fibroblast aging, a cell type central to skin structure and repair.
RM Global Partners LLC acted as Amorepacific’s advisor for this transaction.
Junevity is a biotechnology company developing siRNA therapeutics to reset global gene networks for longevity. Its RESET Platform is the first to use human disease omics, human genetic linkages, and ML/AI to identify novel transcription factor targets and repress them with siRNA therapeutics.
Initial programs are in siRNA for obesity, with collaborations in aesthetics and neurodegeneration.
Based in San Francisco and founded at UCSF in 2023, Junevity’s mission is to increase lifespan and healthspan.
The company has raised more than USD 20 million in seed financing, led by Goldcrest Capital and Godfrey Capital.
