Univar Solutions, CABB Group partners for North American distribution deal
The agreement builds on an existing relationship between the two companies in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region and extends it into North America.
USA – Univar Solutions USA LLC, through its Ingredients + Specialities (I+S) division, has signed an exclusive distribution partnership with the CABB Group to expand access to high-purity glycolic acid, including the flagship ingredient GLYCOS® Clear 70, across the United States and Canada.
The partnership specifically covers CABB’s glycolic acid portfolio, including GLYCOS® Clear 70, a high-purity solution known for its reliability in facial and body care formulations.
CABB emphasizes that its glycolic acid is produced using renewable electricity, reflecting its commitment to sustainability without compromising performance.
Glycolic acid is widely used in cosmetic and skincare formulations for its exfoliating properties, helping to improve skin texture, tone, and radiance.
Adding glycolic acid to Univar Solutions’ portfolio supports the company’s strategic plan to invest in growth areas, expand its ingredient offerings, and help customers develop differentiated, high-performing products.

This move comes shortly after Univar Solutions USA LLC, through its Ingredients + Specialties (I+S) division expanded its distribution agreement with Dow to supply advanced homecare and industrial cleaning specialty ingredients across the United States and Canada.
The deal broadens formulators’ access to Dow’s SupraCare™ portfolio of polymers and specialty additives, offering multi-functional ingredients intended to boost cleaning performance, increase formulation flexibility, and align with evolving market demands.
