Eurofragance appoints Felipe Araya as General Manager for Europe, Africa, and Türkiye

This internal shift ensures continuity in Eurofragance’s strategic direction amid its growth phase.

MEA – Eurofragance has strengthened its regional leadership by appointing Felipe Araya as General Manager for Europe, Africa, and Türkiye (EAT), a move tied directly to the company’s recent CEO transition.

The appointment aims to solidify Eurofragance’s dominance in the EAT region by fostering deeper client relationships and supporting the firm’s long-term growth plans, including innovation and sustainability efforts.

Araya emphasized his intent to “strengthen client ties and elevate Eurofragance’s market positioning,” reflecting a proactive approach to regional challenges.

CEO Jiménez praised Araya’s prior contributions, noting “Felipe has been instrumental in strengthening our commercial footprint across Europe, Africa and Türkiye. He has expanded our retail partnerships, supported key clients and driven regional sales development.”

“His strategic vision, people‑focused leadership and ability to mobilize teams and resources will continue to deliver value for our clients and drive the EAT region into its next phase of growth.”

Araya, who joined Eurofragance in March 2025 as Sales Director for the EAT region, now steps into this expanded position to drive regional consolidation and client engagement.

His over 20 years of expertise in international sales, marketing, and management within fine perfumery, beauty, and luxury sectors position him ideally to enhance the company’s footprint across these key markets.

This change builds on the planned CEO handover from Laurent Mercier, who led since 2018 and oversaw major transformations like proprietary ingredient development, transitioning to the board in 2026.

This new role emerged following Joan Pere Jiménez’s appointment as the new CEO of Eurofragance, effective January 1, 2026.

Joan Pere Jiménez, who has served Eurofragance for more than a decade, steps into the top role after a planned succession process initiated in 2023.

He originally joined as Chief Operations Officer and advanced through key Management Committee positions, including General Manager for Europe, Africa, and Turkey until 2021, then for the Asia Pacific region through 2023.

Meanwhile, earlier last year, Eurofragance nominated Oumayma Tabet as its new General Manager for the Middle East region, effective January 2026.
