Nuuk raises USD 2M to strengthen its supply chain and product development

Nuuk’s continued investor backing reflects strong confidence in its business fundamentals, long-term vision, and capital efficiency amid current market conditions.

INDIA – Nuuk, one of India’s fastest-growing new-age direct-to-consumer (D2C) home appliance brands, has secured an additional INR 19 crore(USD 2 million) from its existing investors, Vertex Ventures SEA and Good Capital, following the completion of its Series A round earlier in 2025. 

This follow-on funding brings Nuuk’s total capital raised to over INR 90 crore(USD 10 million). 

According to the brand, the capital infusion will be strategically used to accelerate brand building, advance product development, and strengthen Nuuk’s Made-in-India manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.

Nuuk positions itself as a design-first, high-performance home appliance brand targeting modern Indian consumers who value both style and functionality. 

Co-founders Gazal Kalra and Shalabh Gupta emphasized the importance of the funds, stating, “This round gives us continued momentum to build a category-defining company, doubling down on product innovation and business growth.”

“We remain focused on our core belief that appliances should be designed with intent: intuitive, high-performance, and worthy of staying on the countertop, not under it.”

The company maintains a full-stack approach, from in-house design and controlled supply chains to direct online distribution, enabling it to offer differentiated, locally manufactured products aligned with India’s evolving lifestyles and aspirations. 

Nuuks differentiates itself by combining human-centred design and advanced engineering to address real consumer needs, transforming a segment traditionally dominated by legacy utilitarian brands and imports. 

The brand’s portfolio spans four key categories: fans, vacuum cleaners, garment care, juicers and blenders.

In the fan segment, Nuuk offers rechargeable table fans, folding fans, and air circulators that often feature mood lighting and silent operation, designed for portability and aesthetic appeal.

Its vacuum cleaner range includes cordless stick vacuums and specialized mattress vacuums equipped with BeamTech™ adaptive suction technology, catering to both everyday cleaning and deep sanitization needs.

For garment care, Nuuk provides compact steamers and fabric refreshers that simplify wardrobe maintenance, ideal for quick touch-ups and travel. 

In the kitchen appliance space, the brand delivers high-performance juicers and blenders that combine compact design with powerful functionality.

In addition, Nuuk remains committed to ethical and sustainable manufacturing practices, incorporating eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient processes as part of its growth strategy.
