Microsoft and Haleon partner to scale digital health capabilities

These efforts support Haleon’s ambition to reach one billion more consumers by 2030 and deliver industry-leading shareholder returns.

UK – Haleon, a London-based global consumer health company, has announced a new five-year strategic collaboration with Microsoft to scale its digital, data and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities across the business, accelerating delivery of its global “Win as One” strategy.

The expanded agreement builds on Haleon’s existing deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot and extends AI adoption enterprise-wide, with the aim of automating routine work, improving collaboration, and strengthening the company’s digital and AI infrastructure through the wider use of Microsoft’s agentic AI, security, and identity tools.

The partnership will see Haleon and Microsoft co-create high-impact AI use cases across critical functions including consumer insights, innovation and R&D, supply chain and commercial execution, enabling the consumer health business to translate insights into action more quickly and at greater scale.

Claire Dickson, Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Haleon, described the partnership, stating, “We’re already embedding AI capabilities across the business, delivering measurable results and efficiencies in areas including consumer insights, marketing, R&D and supply chain.”

“By combining Microsoft’s cloud and AI capabilities with Haleon’s deep consumer health expertise, we’re accelerating our AI progress, simplifying how we work, unlocking more value from our data, accelerating innovation and helping our teams make faster, smarter decisions to benefit our consumers.”

Under the deal, Haleon will use Microsoft Azure as its core cloud platform and Microsoft Copilot as part of its enterprise AI foundations, supported by strengthened identity, governance and threat protection capabilities to safeguard data, systems and AI-powered workflows as AI is deployed at scale.

The company also plans to advance next-generation agentic AI capabilities, allowing its digital and technology teams to manage, govern and secure intelligent digital agents that work alongside employees to identify opportunities earlier, respond faster and deliver better outcomes for consumers, customers and health professionals.

Haleon expects the collaboration to accelerate scientific research and clinical content development, enhance marketing content creation and personalisation, and improve forecasting and decision-making from supply chain planning to commercial execution, helping it meet rising demand more quickly, offer more personalised health products and ensure its science-backed brands are available in the right place at the right time to millions more people globally.

The collaboration supports Haleon’s ambition to become an AI-powered, decision-intelligent enterprise, where data and insights flow seamlessly to enable faster, smarter, more consumer-centric decisions, simplify operations, accelerate innovation cycles, and improve responsiveness to market and consumer signals.

Haleon is a consumer health company with a portfolio spanning oral health, vitamins, minerals and supplements, pain relief, respiratory health, digestive health and therapeutic skin health, with brands such as Advil, Centrum, Otrivin, Panadol, parodontax, Polident, Sensodyne, Theraflu and Voltaren trusted by more than one billion consumers globally.
