SWITZERLAND – Givaudan has launched an enhanced version of its Zap platform, designed to highlight the strong link between odour reduction and improved wellbeing.
The updated Zap platform integrates artificial intelligence, sustainable ingredients, and advanced perfumery expertise to provide tailored odour-control solutions for personal care, household, textile, and pet-related applications.
The platform addresses specific malodours through dedicated technologies, customised according to regional factors, climate variations, and the unique needs of consumers.
Jeremy Compton, global head of science and technology fragrances at Givaudan, said, “At our Health and Wellbeing Centre of Excellence, based in Ashford, UK, our experts in malodor science collaborate with perfumers globally, enabling the development of scents that help create positive sensorial experiences while at the same time combating malodors,”

FabZap is designed explicitly for laundry and textile applications, providing lasting freshness. HomeZap targets environmental odours in indoor spaces and now features AirZap, a specialised solution for enhancing indoor air quality.
