The innovation is dedicated to the production of lip gloss bottles for its monomaterial dip-in packs.

GERMANY – Global cosmetics packaging leader Quadpack has unveiled an advancement in sustainable beauty solutions, introducing new injection-moulding technology at its Kierspe, Germany, facility to produce monomaterial PET lip gloss bottles.
The investment enhances the company’s ability to deliver eco-friendly packaging tailored for high-alkane content formulations, addressing a critical market need.
“There is a growing demand for dip-in packs compatible with complex formulations, especially in 6ml full PET lip gloss solutions,” said Pierre-Antoine Henry, Senior Director of Marketing, Innovation, and Strategic Development at Quadpack.
“This development strengthens our position in colour cosmetics while aligning with our sustainability goals.”
The state-of-the-art equipment allows Quadpack to manufacture monomaterial packaging using polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, ensuring recyclability without compromising performance.
By expanding its expertise in thick-wall PET injection moulding, the company now offers a broader product mix, including jars, bottles, and airless packs for both skincare and makeup, primarily serving its European clientele.
“This is a pivotal step in merging Asian technological advancements with European manufacturing excellence,” Henry emphasized.
“It not only enhances efficiency but also significantly reduces lead times and our carbon footprint.”
The Kierspe facility, a hub for innovation, now features advanced decorating and assembly capabilities, enabling Quadpack to deliver customized, high-quality packaging solutions.
In a statement, Quadpack highlighted its focus on reducing environmental impact while maintaining functionality.
The new PET lip gloss bottles are designed to be both durable and recyclable, catering to brands seeking eco-conscious solutions without sacrificing aesthetics or user experience.
Adding to its sustainable innovations, Quadpack recently showcased its Dropify Bottle at the 2025 Cosmetic Business trade show in Munich.
Karen Merchán, Skin Care Category Manager, noted, “The Dropify Bottle offers a precise, user-friendly way to dispense lightweight formulas, complementing the growing trend toward refillable beauty packaging.”
Recent industry updates reveal a surge in demand for refillable and monomaterial packaging, with brands increasingly prioritizing recyclability.
