Their combined efforts demonstrate how strategic partnerships can drive meaningful environmental change and promote healthier lifestyles while making sustainable beauty practices more commonplace in retail settings.

UAE – L’Oréal Middle East and BinSina Pharmacy, one of the leading pharmacies in the UAE, have formalized a multi-year strategic partnership aimed at advancing sustainable beauty practices in the UAE through a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU).
This alliance focuses on driving a circular economy in the beauty sector by promoting responsible consumption, reducing environmental impact, and fostering community engagement.
A core pillar of the partnership is the expansion of refillable beauty products across BinSina stores.
This initiative makes eco-conscious options more accessible to consumers and directly targets the reduction of single-use plastic waste.
Complementing this, the collaboration includes strategies to minimize product waste through improved forecasting techniques and dedicated in-store programs.
By 2027, the partnership aims to have approximately 85% of point-of-sale materials designed with eco-friendly principles.
Sanaa Bougazzoul, General Manager at L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty, stated, “Our collaboration with BinSina Pharmacy underscores the importance of collective action in advancing sustainability.”
“Promoting refills, educating consumers, and empowering advisors are steps toward reducing environmental impact while encouraging broader industry participation.”
To deepen the impact, both companies have committed to empowering BinSina’s Beauty Advisors through joint training programs.
These programs equip the sales teams with knowledge and tools to educate customers about sustainable beauty choices, thus raising public awareness and fostering informed consumption.
The collaboration also embraces social responsibility through support of L’Oréal’s “Fight with Care” campaign, led by the La Roche-Posay brand.
This campaign focuses on social causes, public health awareness, and promoting inclusive beauty, with joint community activations planned to spread these messages effectively.
Together, L’Oréal Middle East and BinSina Pharmacy are not only contributing to the UAE’s vision of a circular economy and environmental sustainability but also setting a regional industry benchmark.
This initiative exemplifies the growing momentum in the Gulf region to tackle environmental challenges through innovation, responsible consumption, and community-oriented actions.
In line with sustainability, L’Oréal recently accomplished 100% renewable energy usage across all 23 operated sites in the South Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa (SAPMENA) Zone by the end of 2023, two years ahead of its original 2025 target.
