The new range builds on Bahari’s existing natural coconut oil and skincare positioning while creating a more focused offer for infants, children and consumers with sensitive skin.

KENYA – Bahari Coconut Oil has expanded into the baby-care segment with the launch of the Bahari Baby Range, a natural personal-care collection developed to nourish, soothe and protect delicate baby skin.
The new Bahari Baby Range includes Baby Oat Lotion, available in a 300 ml bottle and a 500 ml bottle and Baby Whipped Body Butter in a 200 g pack.
The products are designed to provide daily moisturisation for baby skin and is particularly positioned for sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
The collection is formulated around natural oats, coconut and shea butter, ingredients the company says provide gentle moisturising, soothing and protective benefits for delicate skin.
Bahari positions the range as 100% chemical-free, rich in natural ingredients, gentle on sensitive skin and safe for all ages.
The brand’s move into baby care reflects increasing demand for simple, naturally positioned products that avoid ingredients such as parabens, sulfates, artificial fragrances and synthetic preservatives.
Together, the lotion and body butter introduce a focused two-product launch that combines oat-based soothing care with coconut- and shea-based nourishment.
Bahari’s baby-care entry builds on its established cold-pressed extra virgin coconut oil, goat milk soaps, coconut soaps, shea butter and other natural personal-care products.

In a similar move, Emami has recently extended its BoroPlus skincare brand into the Indian baby-care category through BoroPlus FromMaa, a seven-product range comprising baby lotion, cream, soap, shampoo, massage oil, powder and diaper-rash cream.
The collection uses ingredients such as Mamra almonds, Kashmiri kesar and milk protein, and Emami says that the products are pediatrician-approved and dermatologist-tested.
The company also positions the range as free from parabens and phthalates, underscoring the growing role of naturally inspired, clinically supported, and safety-focused claims in premium baby care.
Meanwhile, Marico also unveiled Parachute Advansed Protein Shampoo, strengthening the brand’s foothold in hair care while making its debut in the hair cleansing category.
This flagship variant combines coconut milk and aloe vera, while the rest of the range features a carefully selected mix of natural powerhouse ingredients, including rosemary, amla, shikakai, almond, and others, each delivering distinct benefits like hair fall control and enhanced shine.
