Creed Fragrances unveils its first flagship store in New Delhi

Creed’s entry into India aligns with the country’s growing appetite for luxury and experiential retail.

INDIA – The House of Creed, an Anglo-French multinational niche perfume house based in Paris, has opened its first flagship boutique in India at The Chanakya, New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s global expansion.

The launch is a result of a strategic partnership with LUXASIA, Asia Pacific’s leading omni-distribution platform for luxury brands, which has collaborated with Creed since 2003, starting in Singapore.

This launch brings Creed’s heritage of artisanal fragrance craftsmanship to India’s vibrant luxury market, offering an immersive sensory experience for fragrance enthusiasts.

The New Delhi boutique, spanning 750 square feet, showcases Creed’s iconic fragrances, including the bold and celebrated Aventus, the crisp Silver Mountain Water, the distinguished Green Irish Tweed, and the elegant Aventus for Her.

The store also features an exclusive range of body care, home scents, and lifestyle products, including fragrances for men, women, and the home.

The boutique’s design reflects Creed’s commitment to elegance and heritage, with interiors featuring Verde Luana marble, brushed brass, American walnut panelling, and luxurious textured fabrics.

Erwin Creed, a member of the 7th generation of the founding family, said, “With great pride, we open our doors in Delhi, offering India its first intimate glimpse into the world of Creed.”

“We aim to share a legacy built over seven generations and invite a new audience to embrace the quiet power of scent.”

Founded in 1760 by James Henry Creed in London, The House of Creed has evolved from a bespoke tailoring house to a globally revered perfumery, renowned for crafting scents for royalty, celebrities, and discerning clientele.

The boutique’s opening follows Creed’s gradual expansion in India, starting with a presence at Scentido, a niche perfumery, and online platforms like Nykaa and TataCLiQ Luxury.

Looking ahead, Creed plans to open three additional stores in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru over the next three to five years, as well as shop-in-shop concepts in select department stores, such as the upcoming Galeries Lafayette in Mumbai.
