Dove expands portfolio with launch of women’s wellness range

This expansion aligns with Dove’s mission of championing real beauty and self-care at every stage, while reinforcing its status as a pioneer in inclusive, science-backed personal care.

USA – Dove has marked a significant expansion of its legacy in personal care by launching its first-ever Women’s Wellness Range, a collection specifically designed for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.

This move represents Dove’s entry into the women’s wellness category, broadening its longstanding commitment to skincare and support for real beauty to now include life-stage-tailored solutions for hormonal health and intimate care.

The product lineup includes four key items: Dove Glycolic Serum Wash for exfoliation and odour control, Dove Cleansing Oil for dry, itchy skin, Dove Whole Body Wash, a fragrance-free gentle wash for vulva skin, and Dove Ultra Gentle Balm, a fragrance-free moisturizer for daily hydration and vulvovaginal dryness relief.

The collection was developed in close collaboration with gynaecologists, menopause experts, and dermatologists.

According to the brand, the line was inspired by candid “TMI” (too much information) moments that women shared about their real experiences with hormonal changes.

The products address often-overlooked symptoms such as increased sweating, dryness, odour shifts, and intimate skin sensitivity.

Ellen Shepard, Senior Research & Development Director at Unilever, stated, “The Dove Women’s Wellness Range is the latest expression of the brand’s long-standing commitment to real beauty, real care and real conversations.”

“By leveraging Unilever’s expertise in surfactant science, odour and sweat management and the microbiome, we’re turning women’s needs into advanced, personalized care.”

Accompanying the product roll-out is Dove’s “Made with TMI” campaign, focused on transforming topics that were once taboo into opportunities for communal conversation and better care.

The initiative seeks to break the silence around women’s hormonal health and foster an environment where women feel empowered to discuss their bodies without shame.

The range was co-developed with experts, including OB/GYN Dr. Jessica Shepherd, who emphasized the importance of ending generational taboos and supporting women in open conversations about health.

This expansion aligns with Dove’s mission of championing real beauty and self-care at every stage, while reinforcing its status as a pioneer in inclusive, science-backed personal care.
