Cheeky Panda Pocket Tissues are the UK’s first plastic-free pocket tissues, made from FSC-certified sustainable bamboo.

UK – London-based sustainable tissue brand Cheeky Panda has expanded its product range into Morrisons supermarkets, introducing eco-friendly options to shoppers across the UK.
Starting this week, the company’s Flat Box Tissue, Cube Tissue, and Plastic-Free Bamboo Pocket Tissues will appear on shelves in all 427 Morrisons stores.
This move marks a key retail partnership aimed at increasing access to bamboo-based alternatives in everyday household items.
The Plastic-Free Bamboo Pocket Tissues, which come wrapped in recyclable paper, will debut exclusively at Morrisons through the end of the year.
Customers can expect these compact packs to offer a convenient, on-the-go solution that eliminates the need for single-use plastics.
According to company details, the tissues maintain high absorbency and softness while prioritizing environmental benefits.
Each product in the lineup draws from 100% FSC-certified bamboo, harvested from fast-growing sources that regenerate quickly compared to traditional trees.
This material choice reduces reliance on deforestation-prone wood pulp, supporting broader efforts in the paper industry to shift toward renewable fibres.
Julie Chen, Cheeky Panda’s chief executive and co-founder, highlighted the significance of the collaboration.
“Partnering with Morrisons is a huge step for us and for the bamboo revolution,” she said in a statement.
She added that introducing the new range alongside an updated brand look in a major retailer shows how eco-conscious choices can deliver on performance and affordability.
Earlier this month, Cheeky Panda revealed a packaging overhaul to emphasize the natural qualities of its bamboo fibres.
The redesign incorporates subtle, textured patterns inspired by growing bamboo stalks, applied across tissue boxes and wraps to convey a sense of gentleness.
This update coincides with the Morrisons rollout, helping the brand stand out in the competitive tissue aisle.
A report by NielsenIQ notes that since its founding in 2016, Cheeky Panda has scaled from a niche player to a notable presence in the sustainable tissue market.
The company now serves a growing demand for affordable luxury options, with sales driven by consumer interest in plant-based products.
Industry observers point to such expansions as evidence of retailers responding to calls for greener supply chains.
Morrisons has committed to phasing out unnecessary plastics in its own-label ranges, and stocking Cheeky Panda products aligns with that strategy.
Shoppers appreciate the durability of bamboo tissues for everything from kitchen spills to daily wipes, often finding them to last longer than conventional varieties.
For now, Morrisons customers have a fresh opportunity to swap out tree-derived tissues for a more sustainable alternative, potentially reducing their environmental footprint one box at a time.
The rollout follows a summer of brand momentum, including social media campaigns showcasing the product’s strength in real-life scenarios.
With exclusivity on the pocket line, Cheeky Panda aims to build loyalty before wider distribution in 2026.
