KENYA – Tropikal Brands Afrika Ltd, a Kenyan-based manufacturer and distributor of home care and personal care products, has launched an innovative personal care line, ALO, backed by a USD 3 million investment.
The line targets the rising consumer demand for natural, sustainable skincare solutions across East and Central Africa.
The ALO range includes body lotions, shower gels, body sprays, and roll-ons, all infused with natural ingredients with a particular focus on locally sourced components, emphasizing support for Kenyan farmers and the agricultural value chain.
A standout feature of the ALO line is its goat milk-enriched body lotions, formulated in collaboration with over 500 Kenyan farmers.
Goat milk contains natural lactic acid, which gently exfoliates dead skin cells, hydrates, and nourishes the skin, resulting in a soft, radiant glow.
Complementing this, the range also includes aluminium-free deodorants designed for 48 hours of freshness without compromising skin health or environmental safety.
Managing Director Davis Mukuria highlighted the launch as a significant milestone in Tropikal Brands Afrika’s quest to offer superior, nature-inspired personal care products that align with modern African consumer values while promoting local economic empowerment and sustainability.
The company’s partnership with local farmers ensures the sourcing of high-quality ingredients and supports job creation within the agricultural sector.
