Alchemy Ingredients unveils Spraymulse to master stable sprayable emulsions

UK – British personal care ingredient specialist Alchemy Ingredients has introduced Spraymulse, an innovative natural emulsifier system designed to tackle a significant challenge in cosmetics formulation: producing stable, sprayable emulsions with high oil content. 

Spraymulse stands out by enabling formulators to create oil-in-water emulsions containing up to 50% oil while maintaining low viscosity and a lightweight texture at a minimal usage level of 1-1.25%. 

This makes the ingredient ideal for a range of applications such as suncare, body milks, baby care products, moisturizers, and spritzes.

Unlike standard emulsifiers that tend to thicken formulations at high oil loads, Spraymulse combines two natural emulsifiers with a shear-thinning stabilizing system, ensuring stable emulsions that are sprayable without nozzle clogging. 

The formulation delivers a light, non-sticky feel, fast absorption, and a matte, smooth finish without pilling or whitening.
