Bingo introduces smart-capsule dishwasher detergent

The launch strengthens Bingo’s market position and brand loyalty among Algerian households.

ALGERIA – Bingo, a laundry and home care brand under Hayat Kimya, has launched its new ProMax Smart-Capsule detergent, a significant innovation as it is the first smart-capsule dishwasher detergent produced locally in Algeria for Algerian consumers. 

The product was developed and manufactured by SARL Hayat DHC Algeria, emphasizing the company’s commitment to supporting domestic industry and meeting international standards while catering specifically to local needs. 

The ProMax Smart-Capsule is designed to provide high efficiency and precision in dishwashing, offering brilliant results with every cycle and setting a new benchmark for detergent technology in the Algerian market. 

 Anis Frani, the Bingo brand manager, stated, “Bingo Pro Max Smart Capsule is an advanced product designed for washing dishes, and has proven effective in removing tough grease and protecting glassware, stressing that the product is a source of pride because it is made in Algeria to international standards.”

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to boost local manufacturing, reduce reliance on imports, and stimulate job creation within Algeria’s chemical and consumer goods sectors. 

By collaborating with local partners and engineers, Bingo demonstrates Algeria’s growing capacity for innovation and its ability to deliver world-class products tailored to its own market. 

The launch not only strengthens Bingo’s market position and brand loyalty among Algerian households but also supports the country’s push for economic self-sufficiency and sustainability, as locally produced goods typically have a smaller environmental footprint and foster community development.

Bingo, a subsidiary of Hayat, is a home care brand that offers a broad range of household cleaning and laundry products. 

Its portfolio includes powder and liquid detergents, fabric softeners, dishwashing liquids, dishwasher tablets, and multi-purpose surface cleaners.

The launch comes at a time when the dishwasher detergent market in Algeria is valued at about USD 189.6 million in 2025 and is projected to grow modestly at an annual rate of 2.18% through 2029.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Mondi partnered with Proquimia to introduce a paper-based stand-up pouch for dishwashing tabs in Spain and Portugal.

According to Mondi’s internal impact assessment, the innovative packaging, part of Mondi’s re/cycle Functional Barrier Paper 95/5 portfolio, replaces traditional plastic solutions and significantly lowers CO₂ emissions from production to disposal.
