Amcor expands sustainable packaging line with new Grace head launch

This launch further establishes Amcor as a leader in developing high-performance, recycle-ready packaging that meets evolving industry and consumer demands.

SWITZERLAND – Amcor has expanded its all-plastic Wave 2cc pump range with the introduction of the Grace head, a new actuator designed to elevate the consumer experience in personal care packaging.

The Grace head features a sleek, ergonomic shape that fits comfortably in the hand, combining effortless dispensing with a premium aesthetic.

Consumer testing has shown strong appreciation for its ease of use, precise dosage control, and elegant design, which minimizes product waste by reducing residue left in the container.

Beyond its user-friendly features, the pump is engineered for sustainability, made from 100% polyolefin and recyclable in regions with appropriate infrastructure.

It can be produced with up to 30% CleanStream® recycled polypropylene (rPP) and meets RecyClass B standards with PET bottles and RecyClass C with HDPE bottles, supporting circular economy goals.

Lara Alemany, product line director, beauty and wellness at Amcor, stated, “Consumers want packaging that looks and feels premium, and we’ve achieved that without compromising on circularity aspects.”

“This pump is a great example of how our technical expertise allows us to create innovative solutions that combine aesthetics with circular economy principles.”

This move comes after Amcor recently expanded its personal care packaging range with the launch of the Shadow roll-on deodorant, a lightweight and highly customizable packaging solution designed to meet evolving consumer and brand demands.

The Shadow roll-on is among the lightest in Amcor’s portfolio, thanks to significantly reduced plastic use in its production.

Both the bottle and cap incorporate up to 60% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and are designed to be recycle-ready, supporting sustainability goals without compromising on durability or functionality.

This innovative roll-on features a distinctive, rounded base, which enhances shelf presence and visibility, making it an appealing choice for brands seeking to stand out in crowded retail environments.

Amcor has been a prominent figure in the global packaging sector, especially within the home and personal care (HPC) industry, with a series of recent milestones and strategic moves shaping its sustainability footprint and business expansion.

In November, Amcor achieved a significant milestone by reaching 10% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics usage in its packaging, marking a key step in its commitment to circularity and environmental leadership.

In October, the company collaborated with Cut by Fred to launch refillable shampoo sticks, targeting the growing market for reusable and eco-friendly haircare products.

In addition, Amcor partnered with Mediacor in July 2025 to introduce an eco-friendly refill pouch for Nana cleaning products, further expanding its sustainable product portfolio in the region.
