Seppic strengthens marine ingredient lineup with data-driven targeted actions

These developments underscore Seppic’s commitment to innovation and scientific rigour, offering formulators robust, evidence-backed ingredients for next-generation skin care products focused on longevity and purity.

FRANCE – Seppic has expanded its marine active-ingredient portfolio with new efficacy data demonstrating significant benefits for skin longevity and purity, reinforcing its position in the science-backed beauty market.

The latest findings highlight the effectiveness of three key ingredients: Phlorogine CV, Aspar’Age, and Celtosome Eryngium Maritimum, each targeting specific skin concerns and backed by robust scientific validation.

Phlorogine CV, derived from Laminaria Saccharina, delivers a triple-action effect on skin purity.

In vivo studies reveal it reduces sebum by 29.3%, decreases visible imperfections by 10.8%, and enhances radiance by 20.3%, making it a strong solution for those seeking balanced, healthy-looking skin.

Aspar’Age, sourced from Asparagopsis Armata, focuses on longevity by protecting young fibroblasts from “contagious ageing” through shielding against senescence messaging secretome.

Clinical data show that at a 2% concentration, Aspar’Age reduces crow’s feet length twice as much as placebo, while also making skin appear 77% less tired and 68% more uniform.

Celtosome Eryngium Maritimum is positioned as a gentle, biotech alternative to hyaluronic acid injections.

In vitro tests demonstrate a 103% increase in hyaluronic acid production, a 28% boost in collagen, and a 34% rise in elastin.

Clinical studies confirm that 71% of volunteers experienced smoother skin, with a 12% reduction in wrinkles after 28 days of use.

The ingredient is recommended at a concentration of 0.05% and is noted for its plumping and dermal reinforcement effects, attributed to its high content of hyaluronic acid and exosomes.

The growing consumer demand for natural, ecologically sourced ingredients is driving brands to seek marine-derived solutions.

According to Innova Market Insights, there has been a 13% increase in personal care launches featuring marine, sea, or ocean claims.

Seppic’s latest data positions its marine actives as reliable, transparent, and practical choices for formulators aiming to meet these evolving market needs.

Seppic has made significant strides in the beauty and personal care sector, particularly with its recent launch of Chagadvance, a mushroom-based nutraceutical derived from organic chaga (Inonotus obliquus).

This ingredient targets both immunity and skin health, positioning itself at the intersection of nutricosmetics and neurocosmetics, where internal wellness is increasingly linked to external beauty benefits.
