It strengthens Azelis’s CASE lineup in India, merging Milliken’s cutting-edge tech with Azelis’s strong regional infrastructure, technical know-how, and customer outreach.

INDIA – Azelis and Milliken & Company have forged a new distribution partnership for polyurethane (PU) colourant solutions in India, effective immediately.
This deal allows Azelis to exclusively handle Milliken’s Reactint PU colourants, targeting the coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) sector and expanding from their prior successful collaboration in the EMEA region.
The partnership equips Azelis’s Indian clientele with Reactint solutions, prized for their reliable colour retention, robust durability, straightforward application, and sustainability benefits, such as aiding PU foam recycling by preventing polyol yellowing.
Milliken, with decades of deep roots in India’s PU landscape, especially in flexible foams, is now expanding into CASE growth areas via Azelis’s local strengths, accelerating its market penetration.
This move taps India’s surging PU demand across industrial coatings, decorative paints, adhesives, and elastomers, fostering innovation and broader access to high-performance colourants.
Daan Vanwynsberghe, Milliken’s Global PU Business Unit Director, stated, “India has been a key market for Milliken’s polyurethane business for many years.”
“This agreement supports our long-term growth strategy by strengthening our ability to serve customers across polyurethane applications, while selectively expanding into new segments through a distribution partner with strong local capabilities.”
