This move also reunites the North American and international Avon businesses under common ownership for the first time since 2016.

USA – LG Household & Health Care (LG H&H) has agreed to sell its entire stake in Avon North America to Regent, the global investment firm founded by Michael A. Reinstein, in a move designed to streamline LG H&H’s global portfolio.
The transaction is expected to close on September 1, 2026, and marks a strategic pivot for LG H&H as it sharpens its focus on core K-beauty and wellness brands while enabling Regent to consolidate Avon’s operations after acquiring Avon International from Natura & Co earlier in January 2026.
Under the definitive agreement, Regent will acquire 100% of LG H&H’s interest in The Avon Company (Avon North America), which operates across the United States and Canada with a network of independent sales Ambassadors and a product portfolio spanning skincare, colour cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, fashion, and jewellery, including flagship brands such as Skin So Soft, ANEW, and Glimmer.
Since LG H&H purchased Avon North America in 2019 as part of its international expansion strategy, the Korean beauty and wellness group has backed the business with product innovation, digital and operational upgrades, and continued modernization of its social selling model.
LG H&H CEO Sunjoo Lee said, “By entrusting Avon North America to Regent, we believe this move will create a more unified and connected Avon business.”
“At the same time, it allows LG H&H to focus on the K-beauty and wellness brands where our expertise lies for growth and better serves customers around the world.”
For Regent, the acquisition completes a major reassembly of the Avon brand by bringing together Avon North America and Avon International, covering Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, under a single long-term investment owner with a track record in luxury, fashion, beauty, and consumer sectors.
Current Avon North America CEO Sun Moon added that the transition will allow the business to strengthen its focus on the social selling channel as part of a broader growth and modernization vision, delivering continued innovation and trusted experiences for customers.
LG H&H, listed on the Korea Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of roughly USD 3 billion and 2025 full-year revenue of approximately USD 4 billion, is a science-driven beauty and wellness company with leading positions in cosmetics, hair care, and oral care, and global K-beauty brands such as The Whoo, Dr. Groot, and belif.
The sale of Avon North America fits into LG H&H’s ongoing global portfolio optimization, enabling it to double down on its core competencies in K-beauty and retail while exiting a non-core asset that now aligns more closely with Regent’s consolidated Avon strategy.
Avon North America, with its 140-year heritage of supporting women’s economic empowerment and community causes, will continue operating its U.S. and Canada social selling business as part of a larger, reconnected Avon platform under Regent’s ownership.
