This move aims to speed execution, deepen digital transformation, and strengthen the operating model needed for the company’s next phase of growth.

USA – The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (NYSE: EL) has announced expanded executive roles for Brian Franz and Amber English, reinforcing its transformation agenda and digital-commerce strategy under the “Beauty Reimagined” vision.
Both leaders will continue reporting to President and CEO Stéphane de La Faverie and remain on the company’s Executive Team as part of a broader effort to accelerate a consumer-centric transformation, strengthen the “One ELC” operating model, and build future-ready capabilities in technology, data, and digital commerce.
Stéphane de La Faverie stated, “Brian and Amber have each played important roles in advancing our consumer-centric transformation, using technology, digital commerce, and strategic partnerships to help our brands reach consumers in more relevant and differentiated ways.”
“Their expanded responsibilities recognize the deep digital transformation underpinning the company’s next phase of growth and will help us move faster, strengthen our One ELC operating model, and continue building the capabilities needed for the future.”
Brian Franz has been appointed Chief Technology & Transformation Officer, with an expanded mandate to lead enterprise-wide transformation across the organization.
In this role, he will oversee initiatives designed to drive revenue growth and productivity, including further operationalization of the Enterprise Business Services program, while accelerating AI-enabled processes and embedding next-generation ways of working throughout the company.
Franz will also continue to lead the global Technology, Data & Analytics function, using these capabilities to fuel growth and efficiency, and will focus on building critical technology skills across the business to support the ongoing evolution of how teams operate, make decisions, and serve consumers worldwide.
Since joining in April 2025, he has advanced ELC’s technology ecosystem through a global alliance with Shopify to unify the company’s omnichannel commerce foundation and a strategic partnership with Accenture to simplify and scale shared services, describing the past 18 months as centered on building technology-driven foundations that embed an expectation of constant improvement.
On the other hands, Amber English has been named President, Digital & Online, The Americas and Global Amazon Lead, taking on enterprise-wide responsibility for The Estée Lauder Companies’ global relationship with Amazon.
Her expanded remit includes leading and unifying ELC’s global Amazon business, currently spanning 13 brands across 11 markets, overseeing global consumer experience and creator commerce, and facilitating cross-market sharing of best practices in digital and online channels.
She will continue as President, Digital & Online, The Americas, where she has built a scalable digital-commerce model across brand.coms, retailer.coms, and social commerce, having joined in December 2021 as Senior Vice President and General Manager, eCommerce, North America and played a central role in launching ELC’s presence on Amazon Premium Beauty and TikTok Shop in the U.S.
Her work in The Americas has informed digital-commerce acceleration globally; in fiscal 2026, online sales accounted for 34% of reported net sales, up three percentage points from fiscal 2025, and she described Amazon as an “exceptional partner” whose global remit will allow ELC to scale learnings from The Americas while creating differentiated consumer experiences around the world.
The expanded roles are intended to speed up execution, deepen digital transformation, and strengthen the operating model needed for the company’s next phase of growth, supporting its portfolio of prestige brands across skincare, makeup, fragrance, and hair care in approximately 150 countries and territories.
