Albea, Etat Pur’s  partner to supply recyclable tubes for new skincare

FRANCE – Albéa, a beauty and packaging company, has partnered with Etat Pur, a French beauty brand, to introduce EcoFusion Top 50 mL recyclable tubes for their new Pure Skincare range.

Etat Pur is redesigning its packaging along eco-design principles, with the EcoFusion Top reducing plastic use by 54% compared to the previous 50 mL tube and 82% compared to the last 40 mL airless bottles.

The Pure Skincare range features skin cleansing and moisturising formulas with biomimetic ingredients that mimic the skin’s natural components, preserving balance and nourishing the microbiome.

Camille Potier, product manager at Etat Pur, says: “With the EcoFusion Top solution, Albéa supports our commitment to significantly reducing our brand’s environmental impact while providing our customers with an appealing and modern design.”

Sophian Desmoulins, Albea’s account manager, said, ‘We are helping Etat Pur in achieving its sustainability goals through our EcoFusion Top solution.”

He emphasised that collaborating with customers on responsible product development is crucial to accelerating their industry’s transition to a circular economy.

Etat Pur’s The Hand Cream from the Pure Skincare range is now available in the innovative EcoFusion Top 50 mL recyclable tube.

The EcoFusion Top is made from a recyclable HDPE single-component system designed to lower the carbon footprint of packaging and promote recyclable materials.

This reflects Albéa’s and Etat Pur’s commitment to responsible product development and eco-friendly practices in the beauty industry.

Similarly, Albéa collaborated with Drunk Elephant, a US-based skincare brand, to supply sustainable packaging solutions for three skin care products.

Albéa used recyclable materials to package the products and a new manufacturing location to improve supply chain efficiency.

Drunk Elephant’s new serum bottles were crafted using advanced injection moulding and extrusion blow moulding techniques.

This partnership reflects Albéa’s strategic investment in expanding its manufacturing capacity in sustainable solutions, catering to a growing demand for environmentally friendly packaging.

This collaboration highlights the industry’s growing shift toward environmentally responsible practices and underscores the business value of aligning with eco-conscious consumer trends.
