Cantu unveils hair collection for lightweight hydration and defined curls

This launch reflects a growing personal care industry trend toward more functional formulations.

UK – Cantu, the UK-based hair care brand, has launched a weightless hair collection, a new range crafted to provide light hydration, frizz control, and well-defined, bouncy curls and waves without weighing the hair down.

The Weightless Collection comprises six key products: the Weightless Smoothing Shampoo, Weightless Smoothing Conditioner, Smooth + Curl Cream, 15+ Benefits Daily Leave-In, Smooth + Hold Gel, and Protect + Shine Gloss.

According to the company, these products perfectly balance moisture and flexibility, letting curls and waves maintain natural definition while achieving an effortless, radiant style.

Dametria Kinsley, Vice President of Marketing for Cantu, said, “The Weightless Collection is all about offering a light, airy touch to curls and waves reaching their full potential with every use.”  

The Weightless Collection incorporates Fair Trade and Certified Organic Blue Agave, a naturally sourced humectant that draws moisture from the air and seals it into the hair, providing extended hydration.

Blue Agave works with Cantu’s lightweight, ultra-hydrating formulas to lock in moisture, boost shine, and tame frizz.

This launch follows the recent debut of Cantu’s Biotin-Infused Strengthening and Scalp Oil, an oil-based formula enriched with biotin, tea tree, peppermint, and avocado oils.

That product was developed to promote healthy hair growth while rejuvenating the scalp, adding to the brand’s growing lineup of targeted hair care solutions.

Cantu’s product portfolio includes shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments, curling creams, and styling gels, all enriched with nourishing ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, and avocado. 

Expanding beyond haircare, the brand has also stepped into the skincare space with its Skin Therapy Collection, featuring hydrating and soothing body lotions and creams made with natural ingredients such as cocoa butter and mango butter.

Similarly,personal care brand Method has extended its product line with exclusive new launches at Ulta Beauty, which are now available online and in over 1,400 U.S. stores. 

The launch includes the Dream Foam Body Wash, a self-foaming cleanser offered in indulgent scents such as Jasmine + Sandalwood, Vetiver + Amber, and Sea Spray + Salt Air. 

In addition, the brand has introduced two experimental variants, Sage Revelation, with eucalyptus, sage, and spearmint, and Marina Storm, infused with sea lavender, spirulina, and blue agave for a calming, spa-like experience.
